India vs Ireland T20I series marks return of star India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who will play his first international match for the national team after an almost year’s gap. Bumrah has been missing action ever since his injury in September, last year. Not only will Bumrah make a comeback, but will also lead a second-string squad against the European side as many senior players have been rested ahead of 2023 Asia Cup. The three-match T20 International series between India and Ireland will be the ideal audition platform for youngsters to bolster their places in India’s T20 setup for next year’s T20 World Cup 2024, co-hosted by USA and West Indies.

India vs Ireland 1st T20I will be played in Dublin on Friday (August 18), followed by remaining two T20Is on August 20 and 23 at the same venue. So far, Ireland and India have played two bilateral T20I series and the Men in Blue defeated the former on both occasions 2-0.
