Hyderabad Fugitive Mohammed Farhatullah Ghori ‘linked’ to Jaish & Let Under Intelligence Scanner

HYDERABAD: Mohammed Farhatullah Ghori, a Hyderabadi fugitive allegedly linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, has come under the scanner of Counter Intelligence of Telangana and the Intelligence Bureau again following inputs that he is actively involved in online radicalisation of youth in the country.

Sitting in Pakistan, Farhatullah Ghori is reportedly operating several Telegram channels, Facebook pages and YouTube channels to attract people from Hyderabad and elsewhere in the country to join terror outfits, sources in the intelligencies agencies told TOI.
The Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) had in October 2020 described him as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), and an Interpol red corner notice has been pending against him.
