Gold Jewelry Valued at Rs 65,000 Stolen From Quepem Home

Gold jewellery worth around Rs 65,000 was stolen from a house in Quepem. The incident took place on November 20, when unknown burglars broke into Ashok Devidas’ residence, located behind the Kakumoddi petrol pump, around 9 am.

The thieves forced open the main door lock to gain entry into the house. Once inside, they targeted a steel cupboard, where the jewellery was stored.

Among the stolen items were a gold chain and a gold finger ring, with a combined estimated value of Rs 65,000. The theft has left the homeowner distressed.

The Quepem police were notified and have filed a case in connection with the burglary. An investigation has been launched to track down the perpetrators.

Authorities are working to gather evidence and identify the thieves involved in the break-in. The police hope to resolve the case soon.
