COP28 Stage Stormed by 12-Year-Old Indian Activist

Licypriya Kangujam, who is a 12-year-old Indian climate activist, stormed the stage at COP28 in Dubai on Monday.

She held up a sign saying “End fossil fuel, save our planet and our future” before she was escorted off stage by security.

COP28 director general, Majid Al-Suwaidi, finished by asking the audience to give Licypriya a round of applause for her enthusiasm.
