Apple and Samsung, two of the biggest global tech companies, have decided not to participate in a government scheme in India for the second time. This scheme, called the IT Hardware production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, aims to encourage companies to manufacture their products in India. However, these tech giants have chosen not to apply for it. Onlyr recently, around 40 eletronics companies including Dell, Lenovo, HP among others have agreed to participate in the government’s PLI scheme.
