Rashmika Mandanna cried after kiss scene with Vijay Deverakonda, here’s why

‘National Crush’ Rashmika Mandanna recently revealed that she had to cry after her kiss scene with Vijay Deverakonda​​​ in their film Dear Comrade due to brutal trolling on social media.

Rashmika and Vijay shared a kiss on screen in the 2019 film, following which they were trolled for days. The actress termed the phase as painful.

Recalling that particular phase of her life, while speaking with Zoom, Rashmika said the incessant trolling continued for months and it was painful for her. She was seeing and reading those abuses, and went through it.

“…And I would have constant dreams where you know you feel like you are the only one and everyone has turned their back on you and you are calling out for them. That was a constant dream, I don’t know what it was and I don’t know how it was. I would wake myself up with such dreams and cry myself to bed, or even wake up crying,” said the actress.

Rashmika was last seen in Sita Ramam alongside Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Sumanth. The film has been a box office hit.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen next in ‘Goodbye’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Mission Majnu’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra, ‘Pushpa 2’ with Allu Arjun, and ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor. Rumours are also making rounds that the actress will be roped in for Aashiqui 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan.
